Pregnancy Tests, Ultrasounds, and Options Counseling
If a client is concerned that they are pregnant, we will offer a free, no questions asked, pregnancy test. Whether or not the test is positive, we will offer some counseling based on health and relationships. If the test is positive, and they are unsure of their parenting decision, we will provide options counseling, giving the client all relevant factual information pertaining to their situation. We offer ultrasounds to clients up until 16 weeks of pregnancy to check viability and to have our clients be able to see their baby for the very first time!
STI Tests
We test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea at the Pregnancy Help Center. If either of those is positive, we are able to provide the necessary treatments. These tests are free and available to both men and women.
Education, Mentoring, and the Store
Our Client Advocates are available during all open hours to meet with each client individually. The education each client receives is appropriate to their stage in pregnancy or parenting. At each appointment, the client receives SmartBucks which they can then use in our store. The store offers all necessary items for having and caring for a baby.
